A worldwide view of governance and assurance

The paper brings together selected international and regional legal and ethical instruments, national approaches, regulatory guidance, technical standards and assurance resources. Its technical register covers 70 published or active standards, frameworks and resources, alongside 14 projects in development.

Each entry explains what an instrument contributes and what its identified scope alone cannot establish. The closing section, Choosing evidence for the decision, connects authority, management, technical evidence, impacts, security and reassessment to a worked hiring example.
